What algorithm does this random number generator use?

This tool uses the Web Crypto API's crypto.getRandomValues() method — a cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator (CSPRNG) provided by the browser. It is based on the operating system's entropy sources and produces cryptographically secure random numbers, far superior to Math.random().

How does the "Unique" option work?

When "Unique" is enabled, the algorithm uses a Set data structure to track generated numbers and skips duplicates until the requested count is reached. Note: if the range is smaller than the requested count, an error will occur. For example, generating 15 unique numbers from 1-10 is impossible.

What does precision mean for floats?

Precision refers to the number of decimal places. For example, precision of 2 generates numbers like 3.14. Higher precision means more decimal places. Maximum is 10 decimal places, suitable for most use cases.

What's the difference between Draw and Shuffle?
